A comprehensive rebrand strategy to reposition Teachertainment as a leading educational resource brand, built around one core message.
Every decision in the rebrand flows from these three pillars.
"Where Education Meets Entertainment"
Teachers first, parents and homeschool families second.
The Teachertainment website will be redesigned to better reflect the brand's new focus. Rather than leading with tutoring and personalized academic support, the homepage will immediately introduce visitors to the two primary ways to experience Teachertainment: educational resources and bringing Jake to your school.
The new homepage should quickly communicate what Teachertainment offers while maintaining the colorful, playful personality of the existing brand and reinforcing the core message: Where Education Meets Entertainment.
Discover engaging, ready-to-use educational resources inspired by entertainment, pop culture, sports, holidays, current events, and more. Resources can be explored by theme, subject, or topic, making it easier for teachers and families to find relevant activities.
Introduce schools and administrators to Jake's in-person offerings, including professional development, educator workshops, student assemblies, keynote presentations, and other interactive school experiences.
This gives the entire website a much clearer purpose: teachers and families can shop Teachertainment, while schools can experience Teachertainment in person. Both sides still fit perfectly beneath "Where Education Meets Entertainment."
The existing hero currently emphasizes tutoring and general academic benefits. In the rebrand, this valuable space will immediately establish Teachertainment's new identity.
Visually, Jake can still be a major part of the hero. However, instead of the current tutoring-focused icons like "Personalized Support" and "Academic Improvement," we could surround him with elements representing resources, workshops, assemblies, entertainment, and learning.
Engaging educational resources and unforgettable school experiences designed to make learning more exciting for students and educators alike.
TWO WAYS TO EXPERIENCE TEACHERTAINMENT
Engaging, ready-to-use activities inspired by entertainment, pop culture, sports, holidays, and more.
Explore Resources →High-energy professional development, interactive workshops, assemblies, and keynote experiences.
Explore School Services →The navigation will be simplified so the website's new priorities are immediately visible. This also removes the prominence of tutoring-related services and makes the site's hierarchy reflect where Teachertainment is going rather than where it has been.
For Resources, using simply "Resources" in the navigation rather than "Educational Resources" keeps it shorter and cleaner, while the page itself can use "Educational Resources" as the full title.

A prominent "Trending Now" section on the homepage and Resources page makes the store feel alive, rather than like a static collection of PDFs. Rotate products based on what's happening that month.
Educational resources inspired by what students are watching, celebrating, and talking about right now.
This is not just a terminology swap. It's a business model unlock.
"Printables" describes a file format.
"Educational Resources" describes a brand category with room to grow.
This shift is supported by Teachertainment's 2026 keyword performance. From January through September 2026, "resources for teaching kids" was the highest-impression search keyword in this report.
This keyword generated more impressions and clicks than other relevant searches such as "fun teaching methods," "learning through entertainment," "instructional strategies," and "interactive teaching tools."
People are already searching for "resources" when looking for the type of educational content Teachertainment provides. Changing the language from "Printables" to "Educational Resources" allows us to align the brand with existing search behavior while also giving Teachertainment more room to expand beyond downloadable PDFs.
Build the resource marketing around the brand message with a simple, repeatable concept.
🎬 Movie coming out?
→ Turn it into a lesson.
⚽ Big sporting event?
→ Turn it into STEM.
🎃 Holiday approaching?
→ Turn it into an activity.
🌟 Pop culture moment?
→ Turn it into learning.
That connects perfectly back to: "Where Education Meets Entertainment"
Teach What They're Talking About.
These ad concepts advertise Teachertainment as a concept, rather than relying entirely on individual products.
Turn their interest in tennis into lessons about physics, math, science, and more.
Explore Sports Resources →Educational activities inspired by entertainment students already love.
Explore Teachertainment →Movies. Sports. Pop culture. Holidays. Turn what's trending into an opportunity to learn.
Explore Educational Resources →Build a "Bring Jake to Your School" Meta campaign and LinkedIn campaign targeted towards educators and administrators. Make Jake himself part of the product.
The current site explains that Jake has a background spanning education, theatre, Hollywood/Broadway environments, and holds a Master's in Education. That's a compelling story for this positioning. Instead of hiding that on the About page, advertise it.
Visually, use a great photo of Jake presenting rather than graphics of worksheets.
Ad Campaign: Bring Jake to Your School
Bring Jake Perlman, founder of Teachertainment, to your school for an interactive professional development experience that shows educators how entertainment, storytelling, pop culture and gamification can transform student engagement.
Bring Jake to Your School →Ad Campaign: From Hollywood to the Classroom
Audience: Educators, administrators, instructional leaders, and professional development audiences.
Workshop Overview: What can Hollywood teach us about education? Drawing on experiences working in both entertainment and education, this keynote explores the surprising parallels between great performances and great teaching. Both rely on storytelling, pacing, audience awareness, and emotional connection.
This presentation shares the story behind Teachertainment and highlights how the principles used in film, theater, and media can transform the way educators approach engagement and learning.
Create a guide for the website and potentially a downloadable version. This gives schools everything they need to understand what Teachertainment offers and how to book.
Build targeted lists and create email campaigns to advertise Jake's services to:
Since this is a newer focus, getting the first group of schools will be extremely valuable for photos, video, testimonials, and case studies.
Teachertainment is bringing its signature approach to professional development to select schools in the Los Angeles area. Offer a special introductory rate/package. In exchange, get permission for photography/video and feedback.
After 5 to 10 successful events, the marketing becomes MUCH easier. You'll have real photos, real video, real testimonials, and real case studies to power every future campaign.
